I graduated from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Accounting, and have spent several years in the accounting industry, gaining the expertise to support businesses like yours.

The Process

  • Begin by completing our Client Interest Form, which collects a few details about you and your business. Once submitted, you will gain immediate access to schedule a free 30-minute Discovery Call.

  • In our 30-minute Discovery Call, we take the time to understand your business, goals, and any financial pain points. We’ll introduce our services, explain our process to get your finances organized and streamlined, and answer any questions to ensure we’re a perfect fit for your needs.

  • Following the Discovery Call, we’ll send a customized proposal tailored to your unique bookkeeping needs. This proposal outlines the scope of our services, our planned approach, and your investment options. You will have a clear understanding of what is included and how our partnership will work.

  • Once the proposal is accepted, we’ll initiate the onboarding process. This includes a checklist of items and documents we’ll need to get your bookkeeping underway. Our onboarding ensures a smooth start and helps us set up an efficient system tailored to your business.

  • After uploading your documents, we’ll get started on your bookkeeping, which it’s a catch-up/clean-up project or monthly services. When the first month is complete, you’ll receive organized financial statements, a financial snapshot, and a link to schedule your first monthly review call.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We can help file your GST/HST payments but do not provide any other tax ervices. We do have recommendations for local or remote tax professionals and are happy to connect you, if requested. We will gladly work closely with your tax professional at year-end and during tax season.

  • Yes! Your accountant will ensure that your tax returns are filed accurately according to the latest tax laws, while your bookkeeper ensures that the numbers reported are accurate. At JPV Bookkeeping, we provide financial reports monthly, not just at tax time. This will allow you to understand how your business is performing each month.

  • JPV Bookkeeping utilizes a value pricing model, where we charge a flat fee per month, instead of hourly rates. This helps to alleviate unnecessary stress about fluctuating bookkeeping costs every month.

    Monthly bookkeeping service fees vary based on the size, complexity, and unique needs for your specific business. Bookkeeping packages can start as low as $200 per month for essential services and go up to $1,000 per month for optional add-on services, such as payroll assistance, customized reports or inventory management.   • The purpose of our discovery call is to determine what services you need, how we can help, and whether or not we could be a good fit working together. We kindly ask that you come to our discovery call prepared with your last three months of bank and credit card statements so we can determine how many transactions you average per month.
